UNISEX ON INTERNATIONAL WORKING WOMAN's DAY

Once condom and tampon married to function as a perfect business card holder. One can't be without the other. Tampon designed for women, complies the functionality, ergonomics and low production costs. Condom designed for men, meets with anatomical differences and material resistance. Both objects are the ideal examples of gender-oriented design, based not on cultural and social norms, either on pure functional purposes. Form follows function.
Same was when Unisex was created, the usage of those two materials is not a result of conceptual thinking, but a pure function- based choice of material.
Tampon for women, condom for men, UNISEX for ALL!

Please come see our statement about genderification of design during the "Womanish design/Babski dizajn" exhibition at the Silesian Castle of Art and Enterprise in Cieszyn (Polish-Czech border city). Opening on International Working Woman Day, 8th March 2009, Cieszyn,PL/CZ.

P.S. Our design was influenced by many factors f.ex. place of birth, school, culture, growing up, bionics, chemical substances, "The magic pencil", Fantasy, parents always late, nasty teachers, boyfriends, girlfriends, frustrations of not making it to the surgery studies programme and any other traumas we encountered in our lives, possessing the ovary is one of them, but not the only one.
ENJOY!
